Bear River High School
Bear River grabbed an early lead on its way to a 6-2 victory over Logan on Tuesday. Bear River scored on a error in the first inning and a single by Gavin Fronk in the second inning.
Marshall Pond earned the win for Bear River. He threw seven innings, allowing two runs, eight hits, striking out eight, and walking one. Aidan Tueller took the loss for Logan. He went five innings, allowing five runs, six hits, and striking out two.
Bear River had six hits in the game. Parker Theurer and Wyatt Roholt each collected multiple hits to lead Bear River.
Logan collected eight hits. Mack Smith and Christian Jensen each collected multiple hits for Logan.
