Game Recap

Bear River defeated Logan 8-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Carson Day induced a fly out from Kade Rice to finish off the game.
Bear River grabbed an early lead. The Bears scored on a walk by Jake Dahle and a triple by Wyatt Sorensen in the first inning.
Bear River scored three runs in the seventh inning. The big inning was thanks to a double by Kaygen Canfield, a single by Sorensen, and a single by Marshall Pond.
One bright spot for Logan was a single by Kyle Truex in the first inning.
Dahle earned the win for Bear River. He threw six innings, allowing zero runs, two hits, and striking out seven. Flessner took the loss for Logan. He tossed five and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs, four hits, and striking out two.
Bear River had eight hits in the game. Pond, Canfield, and Sorensen each collected multiple hits for the Bears.
Truex led Logan with two hits in two at bats.
