Bears Victory Over Logan Leads to 3A Region 11 2017 Championship

Bear River grabbed an early lead on its way to an 11-1 victory over Logan on Friday.
The Bears captured the lead in the first inning. A wild pitch by Alex Ballot scored two runs for Bear River.
Bear River scored four runs in the fifth inning. Bear River scored its runs on a triple by Jarett Theurer.
Parker Coombs earned the win for Bear River. He went four innings, allowing one run, and one hit. Ballot took the loss for Logan. He threw three innings, surrendering seven runs, six hits, and striking out three.
Bear River collected nine hits. Jake Dahle, Wyatt Sorensen, Levi Porritt, and Theurer each collected multiple hits for Bear River. Theurer, Porritt, Sorensen, and Dahle each managed two hits to lead Bear River.
Jaden Ramos went 0-for-2 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in.
With the win, Bear River finishes the 2017 regular season as 3A Region 11 champions.
