On Wednesday, October 21st the Cross Country Teams from across the state met in Cedar City for the State Championships. It was a perfect day, with the sun shining and a lot of excitement in the air. After it was all said and done the Lady Bears Cross country team accomplished a great feat as they ran the fastest time in school history and having the best team finish ever!
Madison White broke the school record with her time and placed 5th in state. The boys also had a great race finishing 9th overall with Peter Nielsen
running the second fastest time ever in Bear River school history and placing 5th.
A big thank you to Coaches Dan Line and Tyrell Neal and the entire cross country team for representing Bear River so well! Not only did they excel on the course but also in the classroom as the boys were runner up for the 4A boys cross country Academic State Champions and the Girls were the Academic State Champs in 4A girls cross country! GO Bears!
