A group of Bear River varsity athletes ran a split schedule this week to start off the 2016 track season.  Several stayed at home Thursday to compete against Ben Lomond and St. Joseph’s, while a larger group went  to compete at a 4A – 5A meet at Preston Idaho. Steffen Rigby Goes 4-0 At St. George Tournament

Steffen Rigby, sophomore from Bear River High School,  went 4-0 in 1st singles at the Saint George team duels.  Steffen had wins against very strong first singles players from Woods Cross, Pleasant Grove, Judge Memorial, and Juab.  Steffen was pushed to first and second set tie breaks against Pleasant Grove and didn’t drop any sets
