Roholt Collects Four Hits As Bear River Defeats Green Canyon

Wyatt Roholt collected four hits in five at bats, as The Bears defeated Green Canyon 13-7 on Wednesday. Roholt singled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, and singled in the sixth.
Bear River earned the victory despite allowing Green Canyon to score five runs in the fifth inning. Watson, Panter, Jensen, and Rindlisbacher all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
The Bears got on the board in the first inning when Braxton Jeppsen singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Bear River Bears notched four runs in the sixth inning. Roholt and Jeppsen each drove in runs during the inning.
Parker Coombs led the Bears to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and six runs while striking out three. Kelton Summers threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Bear River collected 12 hits on the day. Roholt, Jeppsen, Coombs, and Bradey Brown all managed multiple hits for Bear River. Roholt led the Bears with four hits in five at bats.

The Bears have the day off tomorrow, before traveling to Providence to play Green Canyon in Game 3 of the series. First pitch on Friday is slated for 3:30.
