Morgan came out in the first quarter smoking hot as they nailed 5 three’s and posted 22 points. Bear River stayed close with three 3’s of their own and were down by just four points at the first quarter break. The second quarter saw much of the same as 52 points were scored in the quarter. Luckily for the Bears the third quarter was kind to them and they out-scored Morgan 17-8 and went up by as many as 10 points in the quarter and then held on throughout the remainder of the contest to win by a margin of 7.
Four Bear River players finished the game with double figure scoring led by Mark Huber’s 23. Ren Fonnesbeck nailed 5 three-pointers and finished with 22 followed by Wyatt Roholt with 15 and Parker Coombs with 10.
